Striking for kids: stance, punches, kicks, elbows, knees, and defense, taught as a skill and not a scrum.
Kids Muay Thai is for children 4 and up, from a first class to a young athlete who already likes to strike. The hour starts with agility and balance, then pads. Students learn punches, kicks, elbows, knees, blocks, and checks. Boxing footwork is part of the class.
Contact stays inside controlled drills and light sparring. Gloves and shin guards are required after the trial and are available at the gym. Competition is optional.

“Excellent gym! Stopped in to train while traveling. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. The 6:30 BJJ class was great and challenging. Will definitely stop in again, the next time I’m in Atlanta. Highly recommended for those that live in the area or visiting.”
“One of the best gyms I have ever been to. ATT Atlanta has an awesome facility and great instructors. I have been training in mixed martial arts for about 7 years and jiu-jitsu for about 9 years and I have had the luxury of training all over the country, so that is saying a lot. I myself am a gym owner in northern Alabama and count myself lucky to be close enough to soak up some of that knowledge.”
“After moving to Atlanta, I searched for a new Jiu Jitsu home. I’ve had a wonderful experience training with ATT and I have been impressed with the professionalism, the organization, class beginning on time, the cleanliness, and friendliness. Being a female who trains in a male dominated sport, it can be very intimidating to walk into a new gym and not know what to expect. ATT has been a comforting experience where I feel at home.”
